My first VW, and the first car I ever took out a loan for. It was traded in at the dealership and too old to keep on the lot. One of the sales people brought it home to resell. I think it had about 50k miles at the time. It was a reliable ride and we held on to it until it’d rolled over 200k.

Fun fact:  This Jetta was built in the USA and had a darker hue of Stratos Blue than her foreign-built relatives.  That caused headaches when sourcing touch-up paint and body parts. Personally I prefer the darker shade.
